Nongfu Spring, one of the leading giants in the drinking water industry, has made constant efforts to sponsor sports events in recent years, which demonstrates its brand strength and enterprise responsibility.
Nongfu Spring has paid much attention to the development of China's sports since its early days. Many years ago, Nongfu Spring participated in the rebroadcasting of the 1998 World Cup and the bid for the Beijing Olympic Games. It also sponsored the National Table Tennis Team, became the official water for Chinese delegation in 2000 Sydney Olympic Games and a partner of the Chinese Olympic Committee. In March 2002, Nongfu Spring held a press conference to initiate the "Nongfu Spring Sunshine Project", which was jointly sponsored by the Facility Center of the State Physical Culture Administration and Nongfu Spring Co.Ltd. designed to help schools in poor areas to improve sports facilities. During the event, "one cent for one bottle of water" was launched: Nongfu Spring would donated one cent on behalf of consumers to the sunshine project with each bottle of Nongfu Spring Drinking Natural Water (550ml) sold, and pooled all the money to support the basic sports facilities of primary and secondary schools in poor areas.
In 2014, Nongfu Spring sponsored the Shanghai Diving World Cup; in 2017, it pioneered a strategic partnership with "Run China "Marathon Series; in 2018, it sponsored the Wuhan Diving World Cup. The year of 2019 is witness that Nongfu Spring developed closer ties with sports. In this year, Nongfu Spring sponsored and supported 19 different kinds of sports and more than 120 domestic and international events. In March, the Strategic Cooperation Conference of Nongfu Spring and FINA was held in Beijing National Aquatics Center; in May, Nongfu Spring's drinking water, juice drinks, yogurt and other products were used in the Shanghai World Equestrian Championship; in July, Nongfu Spring Natural Water and Scream Energy Drink helped the athletes in 330KM group of Kanas Super Cross-Rally to supplement water and electrolytes during a short break.
